Borrowing Privileges

  • The students, faculty and staff of Texas A&M University, College Station are the primary clientele of the University Libraries.
  • Other academic scholars who are cardholders of recognized library organizations (OCLC and TexShare) also have certain borrowing privileges.
  • Circulating material from the University Libraries may be borrowed through the interlibrary loan service of public and academic libraries.
  • The Libraries are open to the general public who may use reference materials, electronic databases, and other resources on site.
  • In addition, any resident of Brazos County and the surrounding counties (Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Milam, Robertson, and Washington) who is 18 years or older may borrow materials from the University Libraries.
  • The length of the loan period and cost of the Identification/library card are determined by the affiliation with the University. Click here for Additional Information.
