  • ABI/Inform Global (1971-present):  The best place to begin when searching for articles on any business topic.  For more relevant results when searching for articles about a company, choose the Advanced Search tab, enter the company’s name in the search box and select Company/Org from the drop-down to the right.

  • Business Source Complete:  Like ABI/Inform, this is a good database for “big picture” articles about all aspects of business.  To search for articles about a particular company, scroll down into the “Special Limiters” part of the interface and enter the company’s name in the Company Entity box.  Keywords for aspects of the company can be entered in the search form at the top of the page.

  • Business & Industry (1994-present):  The trade publications indexed here can provide practical, detailed information into how things are actually done in a company or industry.  For articles about a particular company, enter the firm’s name in the Company box.  You can narrow your search by choosing items from the Concept Term or Marketing Term lists.
