Cells phones use is allowed in the West Campus Library in designated areas only:

• Allowed areas:
  • Lobby
  • Barclay Reference Center
  • 2nd Floor by the elevators
  • 3rd Floor by the elevators
  • In any Group Study Room

• Disallowed areas:
  • 1st Floor Current Periodicals Room
  • 2nd Floor behind Atrium doors
  • 3rd Floor behind Atrium doors
  • Open Access Lab
    
    

In disallowed areas cell phones should be set to a non-audible alert mode and if a call must be taken, the receiver should move to an allowed area to converse.
